This is the OSS Michigan, my first Heavy Cruiser design. It features two remote-control tnt cannon turrets with a range of 50-60 blocks, which are controlled from the bridge. The ship features side-mounted fireguns for warding off enemy fighters and unarmored ships. The fireguns are controlled from teh ship's Fire Control Center, located in the superstructure under the bridge. Additional features include: the crew quarters, the captain's quarters, a mess hall, an engineering bay, and a storage room.
The cannons have a reload time, so you must wait at least 3 seconds between each volley, or the cannons will explode. Each cannon can be fired independently, or in sync with each other. Also, do not spam the rotate sign for either cannon in the bridge; spamming the sign will cause the turret to glitch and break.
As with most of my previous airships, this ship uses movecraft to get around. The ship requires a movecraft type that uses 40%-80% wool as the flyblock, and cannot carry dirt, sand, stone, stone bricks, bricks, etc. The ship includes furnaces if fuel is required. This ship is composed of anywhere between 7,001 and 15,000 blocks (I say between 7,001 and 15,000 because the movecraft type I used for this ship requires between 7,000 and 15,000 total blocks; I never bothered to count. The next step below has a maximum of 7,000 blocks, and that type could not be used), making this ship one of the biggest I've ever built.
In the future, I plan on making an enormous battleship comparable to baccayarro's Goliath in size and firepower. I will also be designing various flak cannons, both ship-mounted and grounded-based.
