This is an updated version of my Gladius-Class Medium Cruiser. It is everything the Gladius was meant to be, with a good lift rating, more than one weapon system (3 medium scattershot turrets and 2 forward-firing torpedoes, along with AA coverage to the fore and the sides, and bombs lining the length of the ship), and decent looks. The Gladius was designed to be a warship killer, built to take a hit and to dish out an obscene amount of punishment compared to my previous Hood line (which is still in service, and always will remain so). The only features that the Gladius lacks that the Hood carries are upwards-firing and downwards-firing AA, and aft AA, along with rear-firing torps and an ASM bay. The downwards-firing weapons systems were replaced by a bombing system running the length of the ship. The rear firing torps, and the rear bridge in general were removed due to lack of use. That being said, I DID use the rear bridge whenever the forward bridge was destroyed, but I am making up for this by having a secondary bridge under the middle turret. The upwards and downwards AA were removed due to lack of use.
