First of all, let me say this is a 3x2 door not a 2x2 door, so I think that pretty sets it apart from any I've ever seen. This is also a TWO PART piston which is where the blocks are first pushed out from the walls then pushed forward. I pretty sure this hasn't been made and released by anyone yet, much less with redstone as compact as this. HAHA that just sounded really pretentious forget about that. I tried to create the delay as little as possible and as little amount of repeaters as possible. I think the timing is pretty good and the thing where the top block goes in then the second then the bottom is on purpose because I think it looks cool but if anyone doesn't like it, I can make one where they all go at the same time. It was kind of sad that you could still see the pistons though, but I can't think of any way to change that with the way the door works.
This was the hardest project I have ever done and I finished it about 2 days ago, but I couldn't submit it because when I saved it as a schematic and put it onto the map it didn't work correctly while the original did, so I wasn't really sure about that and my map was full of testing to try to figure out the problem. And when I did figure it out I wasn't sure of how to fix it, but today I just got the idea randomly amazingly and was like =DDDDDDDDDD because it was like making a product of my sweat and tears and it just doesn't work and I was so sad, but then happiness and happiness and yeah.
Have fun =D
UPDATE: Now has switches on both sides with a XNOR gate.
Spent some time thinking about the logic which is this:
Outside Inside Door
1 1 1
1 0 0
0 1 0
0 0 1

Additional Notes
If the door somehow screws up, please comment about it so I can try to fix it.Progress | 100% complete |
