Yeah man, the old temple of Athene never coincided with the new templeI believe, I think the Persians were able to burn down the temple when the Athenians evacuated the city after the Battle at Thermopylae. Some of the pieces from the original columns were put into walls of the acropolis as a memorial though. Fun Fact, the acropolis actually had to be extended to fit the new Parthenon as the Athenians believed the ground of the old temple sacred. Regardless, my design was merely a fictitious re-imagining of the acropolis, but thank you very much for that. Minor in classics here.
