A City I'm working on with Shermzo in Kathos. Currently, we are only working on the Acropolis Hilltop, but will spread out to the surrounding landscape. Before you say "not another fucking greek temple", check out how much detail we put into it. It's probably the most realistic one ever made!

the main "amphitheatre" in athens was located on the side of the acropolis using the hill to raise seats if u know what i mean. It was dedicated to dionysus. if you want details of the temple of athene of the acropolis it was split into 3 parts, the front section was where the expensive offerings went, the middle housed the statue, the back for perishable offers like food, the altar of a temple was usually east but i think in distance they used big slab? the temple was kinda meant to be a house. You could do the erecthion maybe( the old temple for athene). Hopes this helps you!

Yeah man, the old temple of Athene never coincided with the new templeI believe, I think the Persians were able to burn down the temple when the Athenians evacuated the city after the Battle at Thermopylae. Some of the pieces from the original columns were put into walls of the acropolis as a memorial though. Fun Fact, the acropolis actually had to be extended to fit the new Parthenon as the Athenians believed the ground of the old temple sacred. Regardless, my design was merely a fictitious re-imagining of the acropolis, but thank you very much for that. Minor in classics here.
