This is a map I made over the course of a few days while taking a break from making my much larger one. I wanted to try something new so I modeled these hills and mountains after those of the Scottish Highlands. I think they turned out pretty good so I decided to share them. The map contains custom trees by lentbriesje, so credit to him. There is no snow (this is more summer like), but the map still does feature huge mountains, though they are more broad than normal, forests, lakes and rivers. I had fun making this map and I hope you have fun playing it!
One other thing to note: Far view distance is basically a minimum to see the mountains. If you want to be able to see full valleys, etc. optifine is a must. I play on extreme render distance (with shader mods) and this map is beautiful, but for those of you who cannot, I would recommend at least playing with far render distance.
World made 100% using Worldpainter, renders with Chunky.
Permissions: Like usual do whatever you want with map privately, but public use (server, youtube, etc.) use will need to be approved by me.
Thanks for viewing/downloading/maybe-even-diamonding!
