HMA Surprise

The HMA Surprise was a 3 gun Frigate commissioned by the Royal Navy to provide escort duties, scout and generally support the main battle line. One of the most common types of ships used by the Royal Navy the 3 Gun Frigates were fast, light combatants that were just as useful as lone wolves, hunting merchant ships and raiding trade routes far behind the front lines, as they were providing escort to the ships of the line.
