HMA Canopus

This is my latest design and is the best small ship I have made. The ship flies with baccayarros movecraft plugin.

The Canopus class heavy cruisers were built during the War with Korea, due to the fact that the RN's bigger heavier ships could not catch or outrun the more agile Korean torpedo boats and submersibles. The Canopus class of ships had a 6 inch thick armour belt, 2 heavy 15 inch guns, 6 smaller 4 inch guns and a torpedo tube mounted forward of the bridge, the ship also had a hefty AA battery and could carry a fighter for scouting and self defence. The Canopus class ships have 15000 horsepower engines which will push them up to a speed of 33 Areo knots, 3 knots faster than the heavy battlecruisers of the fleet.
