Here it is! I finally reveal to you the secret project I've been working on! What you have here is a fully functional Humans vs. Predator gametype for vanilla Minecraft! I built it to showcase what you can do with command blocks in 1.5, and I'm very pleased with how it turned out.


Please note, this gametype only works with multiplayer Minecraft. You cannot play this game alone! Again I say, you cannot play this game alone! Don't try, you'll only waste your time. I host the occasional game-night on my private server if you're interested in playing. Keep an eye on this server for more information.

~ The Game: ~

Humans spawn in the center of the arena. They have a little bit of time to spread out before the Predator spawns along the perimeter of the arena. Scattered around the map are structures designed to help the humans survive, from a magical fountain that likes apples, to a stronghold that has weapons, to a [redacted] that gives you [redacted] if you [redacted] long enough. The Predator is super-strong, fast, invisible, and can jump 3 blocks high. Oh, and when night falls, he gets night vision ;) If the Predator kills you as a human, you respawn in a spectator box high above the arena, where you can watch the rest of the action. If the Humans kill the Predator, the game is over, and everyone returns to the spawn room.


Humans have access to 3 classes: Noble, Brute, and Stealth


Noble ~ Is given a diamond sword and iron armor

Brute ~ Is given a gold sword and diamond armor

Stealth ~ Is given a bow + 32 arrows and 5 invisibility potions


Choose wisely, every class has its situational advantages.


A note for server admins: Use /scoreboard teams join [yourname] admin to add yourself to the admin team so you can edit game options (there's a room for it in the spawn)
