Hello! This is our depiction of the lead destroyer of her class, the IJN Kagerō. An improved design over the preceding Asashio class, Kagerō was completed during the fall of 1939 and saw action until she was sunk during the spring of 1943, where she was disabled by a mine and then attacked by Allied aircraft. Much of her career was spent escorting.
