To fully experience this map you need to have Immersive Beta texture pack.

This is a MC beta 1.7.3 map I've been working on for about 1300 hours. The main attraction of this map is a fully decorated and furnished castle with many, many rooms and a dungeon system reminiscent of 90' dungeon crawler games. Hidden within secret rooms, behind paintings or other harder to reach areas, there are 10 gold blocks for you to find.

While working on this map, I made Immersive Beta texture pack to truly enhance the fantasy/medieval/retro gaming vision I had not only for this world but for the Minecraft beta 1.7.3 itself. This world is somewhat a showcase for this pack.

I worked on this world a long, long time, there are many hidden areas and details that you may find fun or inspiring. Take your time to explore and immerse yourself withing the retro fantasy world and good luck in finding all 10 gold blocks!
