An attempt at a recreation of Ingalls Ice Rink in Yale University, New Haven, Connecticut.
This was built for Ang333's Building Event with the prompt "Hockey".
The structure was completed in 1958 and was unique in that all support from the roof came from a central concrete arch and external cables meaning that no pillars disrupted the viewing experience. From 2007 to 2009 the rink was renovated and modernized.
There is no interior and the landscaping is incomplete because after doing the roof I was completely fed up. Maybe in the future.
Expect imperfections. This build made me truly regret not having world edit and building at a relatively large scale to what I normally do.
