A simple map about reaching for the Stars...

Basic Info:
From the creator who brought you Shiverburn, I present Into the Stars 2, my first ever Mega Parkour Map. Inspired by Celeste and Super Mario Galaxy, Into the Stars 2 take you on a quest to reach the stars by having you explore deep underground for the legendary Nether Stars. Explore vast jungles, navigate the harsh frozen forest, riptide through the ancient temples and strongholds, and finally brave the depths of the Riptide Well. Let nothing stand in your way to reaching the goal, as there will be many obstacles to overcome. Are you capable of reaching for the Stars? There is only one way to find out...

Game Play Recommendations: Play in Java 1.19, Set chunk render to less than or equal to 9 (this is important for the final level of the map), set simulation distance = to the render distance. Some features break if there are more than one player in the world, as this map is designed for single player. Do NOT play on a multiplayer server, several features have been tested and failed on a server.

Lore Info (The Story of this Map)
Into the Stars 2 (although being the second map) is the first map in this new story arc I have planned for this series. I was inspired by the story of Celeste for the start of this series so you may find some similarities. This page accounts the event that transpire within this map (no spoilers for the end).

In this map you play as Starla, a young adult who has always dreamed of one day reaching for the stars. One night, after a long day at work, she stumbles upon a cave that holds a mysterious energy. After exploring deeper, she finds herself inside a hallway filled with many portals to distant lands. This is also the place where Starla discovers the Cosmic Trident (a powerful weapon used to navigate the stars).
With the trident in hand, she begins exploring these different areas, only to find yet another mysterious artifact, the Nether Star. These Nether Stars are used to reach space in this map, and you need 23 to begin the climb.
While exploring the different areas, strange things begin to appear. Mysterious rifts and portals begin to spawn, and Starla can't shake the feeling that she is being watched. After a little while, Starla is confronted by a Unknown entity, who warns her about the dangers at the end of the path she is on. What secrets are hiding with the Nether Stars, who is this unknown entity, what is his intent? All of these questions loom in your mind as you continue forward.

Gameplay Time: Although we never did a full playthrough of everything, it is safe to say there are at least 2-4 hours of gameplay depending on your skills.

Bug Report: This is my first ever Mega Parkour Map, and as such it is very possible that this map contains bugs or soft locks. In the event that there is a bug, report it to the comments immediately.

Hey, really enjoying the map so far, but I've gotten stuck on the first crystal level. It may be that I'm bad, but the crystal strafe jump seems unreliable at best, I have been unable to get it with any degree of consistency, and the spiral just before it means that I began getting dizzy lol. Maybe consider reworking that part, as aside from it, the map has been beautiful, but I feel as though not many people will be able to enjoy it.

Yeah that's something my beta-tester noticed. I will rework that entire section, as I feel it's too difficult that early in the map. Please let me know anything else you find, so I can do a complete update.

Nope, all vanilla textures. I like to challenge my creativity with the vanilla textures. The only custom textures this map uses are player heads.
