With the fall of the Amathaunta empire on the horizon and the kingdom of Himavanta breaking free from its rightful domain under the empire there was chaos on both ends, Amathaunta shattering as a society and Himavanta being primarily under the control of savages. Under the chaos there was not much choice for the soldiers whom fought in the rebellion, their only choices to ride north in the chance that they might brave the harsh conditions back to the capital or ride south to possibly discover a land in which they could call home. With there only being one logical option for the brigade of soldiers, Yuen whom was the commander made the decision to ride south to rescue empire sympathizers as well to colonize an area in which the Amathaunta empire could cultivate for any means. Gathering a large number of men, women, and children along the path the brigade of soldiers led by commander Yuen came to make an executive decision, to leave the mainland which was overrun by savages in the south and to inhabit the island of Inua off the coast of Himavanta which was discovered only a decade before.
Using the spruce forest to their advantage, the soldiers built ships which was able to transport all of the people to the ice island which was desolate of life and normally should be inhospitable, yet the durability of the Amathaunta people were great thus allowing them to colonize the island. Despite the original ambition to create a colony for the glorious empire, the commander named Yuen shifted the plan as he was self declared as king of the newly founded kingdom of Inua which declared to be closely tied to but not a part of the Amathaunta empire. Due to the instability of the Amathaunta empire there was nearly no disputes over the matter as the despot Yuen ruled with an iron fist, his wise albeit brash methods allowing the hardy citizens to build vast cities along the Loiun Sea which allowed for farms to be somewhat accessible and small patches of spruce forests to appear on the coasts. With the attainment of spruce wood, a prime location in the southern world, and the necessity for trading to live prosperous lives, the Inua kingdom quickly rose in power as it became a staple for free trade through the world thus allowing a flourishing economy in which to support itself and its brother in faith, the Amathaunta kingdom.
Despite the success of their kingdom and the close ties to Amathaunta there was still conflicts between the two kingdoms however, many of the populace believing that Amathaunta to have a de jure claim on the island kingdom of Inua while those on the island believing the mainland should submit to the new kingdom which has grown powerful in a relatively short amount of time. Regardless of these rather hostile intentions towards one another the two have never had hostile actions, Inua and Amathaunta having a collaborative relationship through the decades as both had shared spite towards those of the Himavanta people. Yet history does not dictate the future, the two kingdoms having a friendly relationship for the current time but there is no method to foretell future events which may lead the two into an alliance or down the road of war. With the death of the iron fisted despot Yuen, will a new king rise to lead the kingdom into the skies of peace or down the rocky road of total war?
