How to install Minecraft Maps on Java Edition

Just made this as an experiment. It's a small map (256 x 256), that I made using WorldPainter and MCedit, depicting a desert landscape with an oasis.

You may use this as a backdrop for builds, but please provide a link to here if you post your creation online.
