Apparently, I'm not learning. Not even an entire week ago, I made Yume Nikki+fangames sprites, which were a bit frustrating, since they didn't turn out as well, as I wanted them too. Now, I made sprites of a "character" of the fangame .flow, which... didn't turn out as well, as I wanted them too. I still think I did what I could, though.
Originally, I just wanted to make a sprite of a "crazy" one (as seen on the right), but it turned out pretty indistinguishable, so I made a "sane" one beside it, so one could recognize it better. Due to this work, I also noticed that the eyes (well, the line that implies that they are close, at least) are red. The more you know.
The parts with the pink wool were originally a different color, but I think it wouldn't have looked as good (also I'd have to use wood for them), so I choose pink. Also, I parted a bit with the "only use wool for smaller sprites" thing and used some nether rack. There was just no other way to make a different shade of red and nether rack fitted the "gory" look rather well.
