Katharinenkirche (Saint Catherine's Church) Is a Gothic church in Hagen, Braunschweig, Germany.

It is the Main church of the former "Weichbild Hagen" and one of 7 main churches of the City of Brunswick and one of 5 that have a double tower Facade.

The Church was constructed on the begin of the 13th century as Parish church of Hagen. On donation of Henry the lion A romanesque Church was build, from which still the lower part of the facade originates from, in similar style to the Brunswick cathedral and the Saint Martin's Church which is also the only church of the 5, that has a Completed facade.

In the second half of the 13th century The church was started to be modified in the Gothic architectural style. During this period the nave was Extended to the double of its former width, and length. 1379 the Southern tower (The higher of both) was Finished, however construction stopped on the Northern tower due to the Reformation. The Saint catherine's Church is the second highest building in Brunswick after the St. Andrew's Church.

Due to British bomardements on the Undefended civilian Center (Old town) the church was heavily destroyed, and the Hagenmarkt on which it stood ceased to exist. However this church was rebuild, and in the 1980s it was even decided to bring its Original color design back, which it once had in the Middle ages. Today it shines in a Rosy orange tone, which it did not had before the war. However the crossing tower is gone, as it was sadly not reconstructed.
