According to legend, there was once a corrupt wizard who terrorized the land with his pumpkin-headed warriors. He was called the Pumpkin King due to him being characterized as having a Jack-O-Lantern head, like that of his mutated plant minions. The Pumpkin King wanted control of the entire world, spending tireless hours in his castle's basement to alchemically create the most deadly creatures imaginable. Using the high magical energy of an ancient sorceror's tower, the Pumpkin King grew his ultimate creation in the middle of a freezing tundra, where no one would find him to disrupt his plans - except for one person.

They say that a hero in a dark cloak scaled the icy tower, inside of which they battled the Pumpkin King's most menacing minions, the Pumpkin King's master creation, and the Pumpkin King himself, using the mystical flame sword DeathBlaze. Ultimately, the mutated plant monsters were destroyed, and the Pumpkin King with them. Supposedly, the hero died of his wounds shortly after the battle, and therefore no one knows who they were, and how they knew where to find the Pumpkin King. But that's all just an old story, right?

You are an 18-year-old adventurer who makes a living off looting dungeons and completing quests, native to the cold region of Helmvan.  You have very fuzzy memories of your past, but you do know that your parents died when you were young, so a man named Harry took you under his wing and taught you swordsmanship. Though your home is technically in Helmvan, you spend much of your time wandering about the land. You decide to visit your home town when... what? Do you expect me to finish that? SPOILERS!
