**UPDATE: NEW VERSION IS AVAILABLE**
https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/lightning-strike-2020/
Lightning Strike (2019) is an original minigame I built using only vanilla Minecraft and many, MANY command blocks. It's taken me about a month to get the desired project, and it's been a lot of fun experimenting and seeing what I can do. Lightning Strike itself is a minigame where you are put onto a large floor made out of TNT, and you are given a random difficulty, (1 through 4,) and you have to survive as long as you can without falling off. The way the TNT falls is it's struck by lightning, which will have a different pattern based on the difficulty. Each time the lightning strikes a block it will light the TNT on fire and also cause other TNT near it to catch alight. The more challenging levels will have more bolts of lightning, making fewer blocks left at the end. I have to say, it's actually quite a lot of fun and you can almost think of it as a different version of TNT run, although the blocks fall because of lightning instead of you walking over them. Along with Lightning Strike, I also added three other minigames for a bit of variety. One is just regular Spleef, (using a shovel and snow,) with a relatively small map to make the games quicker but more challenging. Along with that is a slightly altered version of TNT Spleef, with small hills instead of an entirely flat map. This changes the game quite a bit, and you need to find other strategies of defense AND attack. Finally, the third minigame is titled Mini-Strike. Mini-Strike is actually a ton of fun to play, and even testing by myself was pretty enjoyable. This is a game where you have to make it to a certain corner before the time runs out, or the floor beneath you will fall. There are four different colors for each corner, and the walls will change color based on what side you're supposed to run to. The wall ALSO displays a timer, which will get progressively faster as the game goes on, and can become quite challenging. (The timer ALSO has four difficulties, the fourth being REALLY quick, so you've got to be on your toes.) If you die before the game ends, (there is a set amount of time in each game,) then you will become a spectator and will be put above the arena to watch the other players. I highly recommend checking this out, and despite this being my first ever published map, I have created many others for my realms and such. I really hope you enjoy this - and PLEASE if there is anything you don't like or do like, something you want me to change or anything else, comment on this and I will take your comment into consideration. If you have read through this whole thing, you're a true champion. Thank you and enjoy!
The reason this is titled "Lightning Strike 2019" is because I plan to update this in the future to make it even more enjoyable for everyone who plays it.
