Lindenplatz (Lime Square) is a Square in Gießen, Hesse, Germany. Located right behind the town church.
It was used for markets and had large timberframed houses on it.
It was completely demolished in the air raids on Gießen at the 6th december 1944.





It connects to: Kirchenplatz, Wetzsteinstraße, Walltorstraße, Marktlaubenstraße.

You've done some awesome job. Your Lindenplatz contains so many details. I'm fascinated. It would be great, if you added some download link.

Just one question: Do you live in Gießen? You make lots of posts 'bout it...

I do not live in Gießen. in fact i dont even plan to visit it the city, it seems unattractive. I don't even live in Hesse, i live in North rhine westphalia near the Ruhr region.. From which i'll make something after this is done. So a download link will be added soon, since its about 70% complete already, then i will upload the old town area as a world file (later continue the new town area, which contains the trainstation etc) .

Great job, but cool it with the swastikas. Obviously they are for historical reasons, but the PMC Staff aren't really fans. You should probably blur them or your post could be taken down, and I don't want that ;)
