Well hello there ! this is my first project : the Machinarium theme pack . the game Machinarium is from the studio Amanita Design (wich has a free demo ) and is a wonderfull point-and-clic game wich the graphic has been done by Adolph Lachman . It has this incredible ambience that I want to export in our favorite game by this project.

The full project is to have a first texture pack for creative use only ( texture that don't match the original block/item ), an adventure map that recreate the game Machinarium within Minecraft, and a "Vanilla-Friendly" pack to play your classic survival with the unique art-style of Machinarium. But for now on, I'm starting with the creative texture pack and this is what this post is about.

The Machinarium theme pack will be a 16*16 ressource pack with 3D texture and optifine CTM, with hopefully the soundtrack/sound desing of the original material (If I ever get the right to use them).

Everything should be modified by the of the project, including armor, mobs, GUI and particles.



Now enough talk, let's show some screen !

in order : cobblestone, mossy cobblestone, mossy stonebrick, stonebrick, sandstone and variant, lapis lazuly block, gold block, diamond block

in order : kelp block, glass block (will change), light gray terracota, red sandstone and variant, birch plank, the floor is made out of stone (will probably change)




here, you can see the full display of the light gray terracota texture, plus a recreation of a police cabin from the game made out of birch trapdoor, birch stairs, andesite (vanilla for now), a painting of an police star, and prismarine wall (will have a 3D texture).

for the 3D model, in order (top) : Iron trapdoor (will change), oak trapdoor, hanged lantern (vanilla for now), lantern (light bulb), potted cornflower (broken light bulb), dammaged anvil (will change), anvil (will change), chipped anvil ( I use it at transparent stair because I can't find a way to display it correctly on real stairs : it cause "X-ray" effect due to its non-transparent block nature, If anyone know how to change that tell me)

Anyway that is all for this big project that I've just started, please keep in mind that i'm not a graphist nor a programmer, and that I'm open to any opinion/help/advice !
And excuse my poor grammar, I'm not an english man.

Hello there !




New texture :
-5 colored glass : white (clear small windows), light grey (dirty small windows), brown (dirty glass), lime (mossy small windows)         and green (mossy glass).
- white terracotta as a wallpaper (it's a CTM)
-smooth stone as broken irregular stonebrick ( will be randomised )

New block :
New pipe ! (sandstone wall). it work the same as the first one but as a slightly different 3D model

Adjustement :
-The cat texture is now finish !
-The glass texture have changed to match better with the other glass
-fixed texture incoherence with some slab ( red sandstone slab & cut red sandstone slab )

And some good new : in the future (1.16) i'll be able to make even better pipe who will support every position due to their new position option ! but I am not able to make the ressource pack in this version for now because there is no optifine in snapshot ...
