| - THE GAME - MCC Dodgebolt is the final game that is played in Minecraft Championship (MCC). It is a highly competative standoff type of game in which two teams with 4 players each, try to shoot eachother useing bows and a limited supply of arrows (2) that will circulate between the teams. An additional difficulty is that the size of the map is reduced when ever a player dies. When a player is hit by an arrow the player can no longer participate in the active match, so each arrow will one-hit-kill a player. After a round is over all dead players will respawn for the next round. The team which wins 3 rounds wins the match, so basically it is a best of 3 game, with 5 rounds beeing the maximum of rounds that can be played. This map can also be played with less than 8 players for example 2 players would be the minimum but be aware that the size of the map will be set accordingly. Also in addition you can change the color of your team (the color of your half of the arena will also change). |
| - DEVELOPMENT - To be clear, I did not come up with this game. The game as far as I know was developed by Noxcrew. The reason I tried recreating this mini game was so I could challenge myself and learn some new mechanics. The game is fully functional using 1 commandblock and a datapack. The datapack should automaticly activate when the map is started, if for some reason the datapck does not load there are 2 access points from which a player can activate or reload the datapck by pressing a button. The programming, building and development of this map took around 9 hours (testing the map included). If you encounter a bug or glitch or have anything else to add let me know in the comments. |

Signs dont work
so I would need more information than just the version and "Signs dont work" to really help.
I just downloaded and tested the map and everything works fine for me. The only things I can point out to you is that you should try reloading the map (there are 2 access points with buttons, one behind the spawn and one on the opposite side). If you are playing on a server, make sure you enable commandblocks.
