Well, started a new castle project after not being happy with the first one I posted (I had worked a lot on one in between, but do to my stupidity I deleted the save file) So, this is my new one, just started working on it this week. Has working castle gates and moveable bridges. If enough people request it I'll do a tutorial on how I made my castle gate. I have just laid out the boundaries and walls of the castle, the towers are not done just built up to help me know where they are going to be. Inside the walls will include a dungeon, barracks, a castle, and a marketplace courtyard type deal.
There will be a town off the larger castle gate and farms and shacks off the smaller gate. The idea of a port has come to mind as well as some sort of wizard/mage's tower, not sure where that will go tho.
Wish I had taken screenshots through out it all but this is some before and after pictures and a short video showing what I've done so far. I will update this as I go along, so yea I hope you enjoy!

I have been working some on the inners of the castle walls this week. Built a market type area where the general rabble is allowed (has some merchant booths, a couple stockades, and a working gallows). I added a few things outside of the barracks a combat pit training area, an archery target area, and some practice dummies. I built the grand entrance to the actual castle with tree lined walkway, a garden and little stream, and a hedge maze. The inside of the castle is also coming together some I built an entrance hall one side leading to a sitting/art area, the other side leading to the dining hall. Ã throne room with a hidden door under the throne was added. I also worked on a courtyard inside the castle which will lead to other areas, Guest quarters are completed for now. Next I will be working on servant quarters and royal bed chamber as well as hidden passageways throughout the castle.

Hey, By chance could you post a world save of just the walls? I keep building cities but get bored when it comes to protecting it. >_>
