I've built a Metronome with an adjustable Tempo and Metre!
It took me a week or so (nearly 18 hours of actual in-game time) to complete.
I actually tried to build one in 1.3, but it was such a mess. With the advent of the /scoreboard functionality from 1.5 and the /setblock command in 1.7.2, it is much easier now to create a large amount of redstone without an insane amount of buses. Also, when you turn it off, it starts playing a bunch of ticks and then stops. I have yet to find out the cause of this, but for now... maybe it should be a feature!
WARNING: This produces a bit of lag, even on my quite okay laptop. It produces a lot of lag when you're actually inside it. Drops from ~200fps to 30-60fps in there!

Fixed minor bugs! Should be all completely set now.

And yes it will. But I figured out that actually it can only do certain times due to the limitations of redstone (again...).
It will be at 200, 150, 120, 100, 75, 60, 50, 40, 30 and 25bpm.
:P Maybe i'll use the metronome some when I practice
