The MiG-41 is a sixth—generation interceptor fighter project being developed in Russia as part of the PAK DP (Advanced Long-range Interception Aviation Complex) program. It is being developed by the MiG aircraft manufacturing company under the auspices of the United Aircraft Corporation (UAC). The MiG-41 is designed to replace the MiG-31 interceptor fighter, which was put into service in 1981 (it made its first flight in 1975).
