Here are 2 different designs for vertical double piston extenders (VDPE) in minecraft. The first is a "Flat Wall" design which allows the device to be mirrored and have 2 independently controlled VDPE's. The second is slightly larger and uses a few more resources and is a Corner design which allows for 4 of the to be mirrored together to allow for a 2x2 area of VDPE's that can all be independently controlled.
