Absolutely charming and beautiful! Would like two see the inside. This is where I often have a hard time being inspired. By the way, what did you place between the last layer of slabs over the balcony roof to fill in the space under the slab?

NOTE: I found a solution and thanks soooo very much! This is only my second build of a somewhat elaborate house (though I know you said it was "simple"). I'm so happy, I figured out a slight variation of the chimney location you made (still in the vicinity but it has two working chimneys in the two main rooms above each other(as I decide the small room above really doesn't need it). So thanks a heap!!! I learned a lot.
