Hello guys, I would like to show you my Minecraft Portable application.
When you run it for the first time, it makes a directory called mcp_data and, with the power of wget, it downloads the jar launcher. If you want the source you must run it in the command line (cmd) with the parameter -decompile
like this: "minecraftp.exe -decompile".

Bye!

Lol this is alot easier and has a crapload more features pluss its way less buggy!! :D http://www.planetminecraft.com/mod/minecraft-portable-launcher-even-java-is-portable-works-at-school/
it has a built in world backup, world importer (to get worlds from pc to usb), automatic minecraft updater, automatic portable launcher updater. it also has a start server option ;) easier to install and navigate and it shows when an update is available to the mod and all you have to do is press j to update... its alot better than this plusssss it has options to run minecraft in 64bit mode and 32 bit mode. And it has troubleshooting support for those of you wjho seem to hjave problems with the simplest of tasks ;o!!

No, this isn't.
You can place this on a USB stick and run it from that location.
