We are a group of friends from Sweden. We do this in our sparetime, recently we have found the will to reopen the world and continue building our city, Mineville, after almost a year in which the world was put on hold.
The aim for this project is to try to recreate New York as it were during the 1900 to 1950s.
We find pictures mostly from skyscrapercity.com and then we try to make a minecraft-building out of it that way.
We have a website where you can check the progress and even check out our map on a Minecraft map overviewer which is updated frequently.
We are constantly updating our website, so be sure to keep an eye on the site.

We've been revamping lots of the old buildings, for example, the empire state building was completely redone and is now more accurate to the real thing.
We also rendered the world bigger, it's now 5000x5000 blocks.

1: The empire state building is the tallest building, and it's around 190 something blocks high.
2: Well, basically we have a NYC map overview from 1940, but that's mostly just to make the roads as it were back in the old days. When we are constructing buildings, we use Google as our main tool to find pictures of the buildings we are building.
And for the bumping, I didn't know you couldn't do that. I was just letting know we updated on our website. I will not do that anymore.
Look at his progress bar and it says 25% done.
He has 75% more to go.

I have been playing minecraft for about a year and a half.
I want to make famous buildings and mabye not so famous buildings like the space needle in seattle.
I am very good at making bridges although not the best at suspenion.
I also I am very good at interior, so good that I can fight everything you need in the smallest of rooms.
Also I like to make airports and planes and mabye for a special a a380!
I can make apartments, houses, skyscrapers, and parks.
