Information on how you can join the testing team coming soon!!!

GAME INFO:

Cube Conquest is exactly that. The conquest of cubes.

4 teams compete over 1 capture point located at the maps central cube and 4 secondary capture points located in the 4 outer towers in the north west, north east, south west and south east facing positions. Which you must capture to score, hold to prevent the other teams from scoring and keep to win. The longer you hold the points...the more your team will score. The team with the most points at the end of the 15 minute time limit will win the match.

Think you got it? Ok well let's look take a look at how it all works.

Now when I say cube...I mean a cube shaped island and there are a total of 13 of them.

  • 1 central cube (which contains the Keep and the maps central capture point/primary objective).
  • 4 cubes located at the north, south, east, and west positions directly surrounding the central cube (which contains each teams base of operation. The team hubs) and this must be taken back from the creatures of the night who currently occupy it and control it.
  • There are 3 primary creatures you must face and kill if you have any hope of winning the match. These 3 creatures are Switch, Bukkit, and Map Maker. Named after the respective items they carry. You need these items to open your teams siege locker, activate your teams cobble stone bridge and move the materials needed for that bridge to function.
  • 1 cube a cube directly extended off of the back of each teams base. (This acts as your way into the match, via the class drop hoppers directly above them).
  • Lastly, 4 additional cubes have been added at the north west, north east, south west and south east positions of the Keep's cube (which contain a small tower on each island connected by the team hubs at its respective positions). These either have little to no relevance at all or are part of a grander scheme of things. That is up to you and your team to decide.

Each player starts out on the game lobby platform, which has 4 team selectors. You now have the option to pick which team to play on. These teams are Red, Blue, Green or Orange. Each teams total allowed number of players is 5. Since there are 4 teams and a maximum of 5 per team, this means there could be a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 20 players playing at any one time. Although the game works best in teams of 3 or more, you could technically play a 1v1v1v1.

Once you pick a team you will be teleported to your teams spawn point. Once all the teams are squared away...the match is ready to begin. Pick a class from 9 respective classes and drop down the class drop hopper. One player from each team must hit the rdy button in your respective teams base to single you are rdy to compete. Once all four buttons have been activated, the match is rdy to begin.

You are a vital component to your team and each class has a perk that should not be counted out. There are 9 of them and only 5 of you. Choose wisely, because there is no limit to how many of any one class you can have on your team. But remember, just cause it is possible to have 5 of a kind...doesn't mean its a good idea.

Classes:

  • The Champion:With his diamond armor and defensive buffs, this class is perfect for holding down the fort. He is not strong when it comes to dishing it out by no means, but he sure can take on heck of a beating.
  • The Ranger:He draws his bow to drop foes from long range and uses his companion to keep them there. Perfect for pestering points, the ranger makes for a great tool to have when capturing the Keep or keeping the enemies of them.
  • The Rouge:No blind eye here. Unless of course, you are on the side of the pointy end. He is there one minute and then he is gone! Quick and agile, the thief can move fast and hit hard. Especially when you didn't even see him coming
  • .
  • The Engineer:Unique to the game. The engineer is the only class that is smart enough to take on the towers with our without your help. With him you can add some extra points to the board. Without him, I would strongly suggest you keep an eye out for the other teams engineer and keep them from getting close enough to cap as well as keeping your eyes on the key prize.
  • The Zombiemancer:A Zombiemancer you say? The 2nd. pet class of the game and this guy is a bit of an odd couple. He has the ability to conjure the dead. But never control them, as the dead tend to be mindless zombies. lol See what I did there? He can populate areas with a deadly npc party to dead to allow anyone to have a lively time. Did I mention his deadly collection of splash potions? They pack a punch. Welcome to the Party! The kind of party that's to die for! Bwahahahaha!
  • The Ice Mage:Is it snowing? No...Then why am I being pelted with snow balls then? It must be the Ice Mage and his dangerous knock back balls of icy terror. This guy comes equipped with enough snow balls and splash potions to make your life a living hell. Be careful on those walls and tight ledges with this guy around. You wouldn't want him to get any crazy ideas. Oh and watch your step...it's slippery and I'd hate for you to fall. It sure is a long way down!
  • The Priest:You pretty much understand what this class is right? No? OK well, he has a bit more health, he has a better chance of regaining health. Oh did I mention without him...your health won't regenerate on its own? Yup! That's right. That's what he is here for, to heal you. Don't have a healer? Don't fret, there is still a way to gain your health back, but don't blame me when you are in the heat of the moment and those pesky heals you needed so much aren't there, cause that's what the Priest does. He HEALZ YOU!!! lol
  • The Pyromancer:This nasty little bugger is immune to the same kind of punishment he can dish out. An offensive player type with a little bit of raw fire power and quickness. He leaves his enemies in the dust...or at leastsmoking. Which ever comes first.
  • and last but not least...
  • The Warrior:Armed with Iron Armor and a nasty attitude, this dudes hit hurt worse than the last girl who rejected you. Trust me...when you see this guy gunning for you...you may want to turn tail and run. Unless you know someone who has a tail that is.

So now that that is out of the way and the match is pretty much underway, your team must take back the now Zombie infested team base if they are to properly equip themselves for the conquest ahead. Without this hub your team will not only not make it across the gap between your hub and the Keep, but you will most certainly die trying. Trust me on this. Everything you need to siege the Keep and keep it in your control, is in your teams base.

Once you are across the gap, you must now compete against the 3 other teams fighting to take the Keep. The Keep has been considered taken when anyone of the 4 teams has held it long enough to score a point. Keep holding and you will keep scoring points. Duh! Right? and the team with the most points at the end of the match wins. So there you have it.

Sounds simple enough right? Lol...

Come play Cube Conquest with us and you will find out just how challenging it can be to take what everyone you know has to have and has the ability to make you pay dearly for it. Cube Conquest...the Conquest of Cubes. It's never been so deadly to play with blocks!

All the red stone from this build is now currently out dated and may need redoing. This project is scrapped for now, until I decide I want to dig through all those command blocks. Sorry guys. =/

Bout done boss! We actually hit a progression delay due to a snaffu we had with filtering and some additional stuff we added. But we are back on track 100% done with the build, 99.9% done with all the redstone work, and 99.9% done with filtering, however it will be about a week or two before we start sending out invites for beta testing. I will update the page on Tuesday. That is when I am hoping to be 100% done all the way around.

I think I can be of assistance I have an above average knowledge of redstone logic but my real area of expertise falls under building. I've had some experience helping a friend of mine with a map based off of super craft bros by SethBling in which I used both redstone logic and my building skills to construct maps and make them functional, heres the forum thread: www.planetminecraft.com/project/pvp-game/ keep in mind only one of these maps was designed by me and the inspiration for it came off the Zelda Bridge of Eldin map from SSBB. My minecraft username is lptm0ric please consider this application. TY!

if it's possible, I would like to help you, I can use redstone fairly well, not as good as sethbling or codecrafted, but I'm still pretty good, also I'm great at finding bugs and building things, very good at balancing anything. I don't need to be chosen, but I would very much like to
