Welcome to the last resort!

What will you do if you know that there won't be more than 9 minutes left?
Are you just going to sit in a corner somewhere and wait for the end?

Or will you try to make the best of it and honour every corner of the rest of the world with a glance?

Well, this is up to you...

However, there will be a whole lot of dangerous things to avoid.
Acid rain and earthquakes might just be an example of this.

This is supposed to be a semi-hardcore horror map.

This means: Players who leave this world by whatever means end up in spectator mode.
If there aren't any players left, the whole area will reset. But there is more to this map than this...

Another thing: There are some tools you can craft and use here.
Don't forget to use them, at least if you want to continue a specific path.
These tools would be axes, pickaxes and shears.

Furthermore, this map uses a resource pack.
It is loaded if you can see a yellow coloured inventory.

Minute 9

♦ Minecraft 1.20.1 - 1.20.5 (saved in 1.20.4)

recommended settings
:

♦ Particles: Decreased
♦ Render Distance: 7
♦ Graphics: Fabulous (can be lowered if it's too laggy)

♦ Player Count:
This map should work fine if you play it alone or in small groups of up to nine players.
The resource pack is included in the map file, but you probably should download it separately
if you want to play this map on a multiplayer server.

5 Update Logs

Update #3 (The Entropy & Darkness Update) : by Qrent 12/28/2023 11:55:05 amDecember 28, 2023 @ 4:55 pm UTC

Adding more dynamic to the map, this is once again an update that turned out to be much larger than initially planned.

- updated the map to 1.20.4! (This includes a heavy change to sign texts, which would now loose their data in older versions.)
- updated the info books accordingly

Bugfixes:
- fixed issue of multiple spawn-resets after joining the map
- fixed area effect cloud effects (NBT data changed slightly in 1.20)
- fixed issue of the tower continuing to fall after reset
- fixed issues of continued earthquakes after reset
- some cut-off trees at the edge of the map now get reset completely
- updated the data pack to 1.20, mostly in regards to the advancements

Themed Changes:
- vertically doubled the size of the map to be reset downwards, to include every last bit of the caves as well
- the last eight locations of someones death are now marked by black clouds of decreasing sizes
- some parts of the map are now drifting away from their original spot in different directions
- the caves have been redecorated, with some entrances and pathways now collapsing with the passing of time
- each ending has more text and depth to it now (you'll see how)
- the second ending now shows the credits as well, not that there'd be much to see though

Miscellaneous Changes:
- changed the way the tower falls to make it appear a bit more realistic
- added an advancement and new events in relation to the second ending failing
- falling hailstones have now more chances to pierce through blocks and hurt nearby players
- the elevator has been modified to work similarly like the one in Sphaerica II, appearing to move much smoother than before
- there is now a safety mechanism within the elevator, keeping enclosed entities inside
- the biome type will start to change gradually from forest to swamp once the acid rain hits
- separated the two endings, as they wouldn't make much sense being put in sequence
(Meaning that each player can only reach for one ending. Be reminded that there is still only one main ending.
Of course, you could still use the perks of the first one to know about how to reach the second one and then
start a new copy of this map.)
