I figured out how to automate drone assembly...
Clockwork is a Valkyrien Skies addon that adds Create Mod compatibility:
modrinth.com/mod/create-clockwork
It has a physics Bearing that can be used to automate ship assembly.
It's fast, it doesn't cost fuel and we can use it onboard a ship!
What makes this setup unique from the rest of my omni-drone assembly is that it assembles the ship before adding the blocks to it.
Tho I'm having trouble using this method in building Kontraption Omni-drones...
Oh well :)
