Montebianco was founded in the shadows of the white cliffs of Gelazkor, providing an intrepid band of settlers shelter from the elements as well as marauding raiders. Eventually, its readily accessible waterways brought prosperity through maritime trade, enriching the small community and bringing tourism. But with riches also comes jealousy, and as pirates moved in across the bay, it was imperative for the small community to defend itself against the efforts of its swashbuckling neighbors.
