Moonshadow. What is it? Well, some people believe that the gods themselves made this mysteriously beautiful floating sanctuary. Other believe that it was just there, and has stayed there forever. But most people think it's a mystery that will never be discovered.

Tales say that it once used to be part of the land, and one day long ago mages sought out a place to practice magic in peace. Without being disturbed by the ones who do not have special abilities like they do. They say that the mages all joined their magic together to lift a chunk of land out of the ground and into the sky. But one day, they all disappeared.

The only building on Moonshadow that is still standing. It is called Saelindar. It is believe that the mages used it for lessons, gatherings and rituals. They also went there to worship their gods. The building has long been abandoned by the mages and gods.

The waterfall on Moonshadow is said to have magical abilities. When the full moon is out, the water can cleans anyone's soul of sins and cleanse their body of any sickness or diseases. The river that flows off of the island leads to the famous Moonpool. Some legends say that people would travel to the Moonpool to bathe in it. If you bathe in it and live, that means you have magical abilities. So therefor you could enter Moonshadow. But, if you do not have magical abilities you will drown and die. Your soul would then be kept in the mysterious water forever. Nowadays, no one visits the pool because they are afraid of the spirits that lie within the glowing water.

Moonshadow is mysterious and secretive. No one has made an effort to discover the secrets, but someone will try soon. We need to know the magic behind this place.
