On the deeper side of twilight, while the sparse overworld inhabitants of a verdant rural plain go through their end-of-day activities unawares, a huge spongy comet with its darkly red but speckled cubical aspect passes over briefly, arcing below stratospheric level 255, and leaving in its wake spores no more than the finest flecks of a pepper-grinder sprinkling over the sleepy land. While tracing the destination of a softly falling speck, we find the face of Steve, apprentice shepherd, counting his resting sheep while in his deep and restful sleep, soon to be awakened by the sun-warming earth emitting the the once rare and coveted scent of mushroom stew ... and by a foreign sounding "mooo!"

Actually, this was a huge (for me) World Edit ( https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/worldedit ) exercise in copy, paste, and schematic file operations. Comes with lots of resources (and lots of mushrooms) thanks to the effects of the ghostly comet (er…or World Painter rather, … www.worldpainter.net ).

The download is a game map. The mushroom part of the map was originally painted as a square from coordinates -1279 x and z to 1279 x and z with the zero coordinates in the middle of the square. I tried to "smoothly" (LOL--trying to learn how World Edit works) seam the edge of the World Painter landscape to the world generated by the seed and changed the biome a bit in a couple of places along the border and planted a few mushrooms outside of the square. The download will include data from any roaming I did outside of the mushroom "box" (I can't remember if I did much roaming to find items or if I just resorted to using creative mode though...).

There is a lot of potential for that placement of the mushrooms. Perhaps you can turn them into mushroom houses and maybe eveconnect them all with bridges. You have a good set up here my friend.
