We come upon Melanie exploring deeper into the mega taiga, busy uprooting mushrooms for the day’s stew when…shoop….what? Oh!!!

She realizes she has snared the elusively rare red mushroom rhyming fairy who begs to be set free as soon as can be!!!

“Sure, sure as can be!” says Melanie. “But first grant three wishes unto me.”

“Oh fine, so then, tell me, what will your three wishes be?”

“Well, I wish… to be a princess, of course!”

“Of course! (glissando) Your royal greatness, so grand…and…?”

“Um? Oh! I wish for a rich island to place my princess palace!!!”

“Hmmmm…a bit of a tough one, but OK. (glissando) Done!”

“But the island should look like, I, I wish… I wish it to be shaped like a…(let’s see, can I rhyme here?)… a fish? Hmmm…. No, no, no…”

“All right! (gliss.) Done tight!!!”

“Wait, not a.. I don’t think I really want a palace on a fish!!!”

“Didn’t you say ‘I wish????’ A princess, a rich island, make your island shaped like a fish! There’s three wishes for thee, so NOW I GO FREE!”… shoop… “So long to thee!!!”

“Wait. But, you didn’t say anything about my PALACE?!?”

“Whether you want clay, diamond, stone, or just pale glass…the island is all ready for one to be built. So go to! Build to the hilt!!!”
