Hello my dear friends!
After a long break I would like to introduce my new project - 70 Pavilion from Moscow (known also as Moscow Pavilion). It's an exhibition pavilion designed for Expo 67 in Montreal. As the building was a huge success, it was decided to reconstruct the building in Moscow at the Exhibition of the Achievements of the National Economy. At this time the building got its new name - Montreal Pavilion.
The project was designed by a famous architect Mikhail Posokhin and is one of the best examples of soviet modernism. The building is built on a metal frame which I wanted to expose in my build. The structure constists mainly of quartz and cyan/light blue glass. For the effect of separated windows I used end rods. They're giving some light too, so building is very bright, especially in night. I decided to change the interior - now you can find there a cinema but some exhibitions are also included.
Thank you for your attention :)
