This is a recreation of the German ship "Wilhelm Gustloff" which sank on January 30th. 1945 after being hit by three torpedos.
The sinking of the Wilhelm Gustloff caused the deaths of more than 9.000 people, which made it the largest loss of life in a single ship sinking in history.
MV Wilhelm Gustloff was used to transport navy soldiers and most of all civillians who were evacuated from East Prussia.
I tried to build the interior as close as possible to the original deck plans. Of course there are some areas where I didn't know what the rooms were used for, so they do not match the deck plans to 100%.
I hope you guys like it! :)
Sorry for possible misspelling^^.
