Put into service in 1909, the train ferry "Preussen" transported railway vehicles on the route Sassnitz - Trelleborg .
-In the beginning of the first World War, the ferry route was continued, until later in the war, when the "Preussen" was used to transport sea mines for the German Imperial Navy. The ship could carry up to 400 mines.
- On October 15th. 1915, she collided with the German torpedo boat S100, killing 39 people.
- The ship was repaired and on November 7th. helped rescue the 246 survivors of the German light cruiser SMS Udine, which was sunk by the British submarine E19.
- In 1937, the ship stranded during a snowstorm near the island "Rügen".
- The ship was repaired again and put back into service.
- During World War 2, her ferry route was continued until September 26th. 1944.
- After World War 2, the Preussen was given to the Soviet Union as part of the war reparations and renamed "Kriljon".
- From 1975 to 1985, renamed "Morskaja I", the ship served as a barracks ship during the construction of the harbor "Wostotschny".
- No information as to what happend to her after that. She was most likely scrapped shortly after 1985.

Der Bug macht mir tatsächlich noch regelmäßig Probleme. Dessen bin ich mir auch bewusst. Versuche mich Stück für Stück weiterzuentwickeln.
Aber ja, das Schiff sieht für eine Fähre sehr schön aus ^^
Ich war lange auf der Suche nach Inspiration. Etwas was es noch nicht so oft gibt. Das ganze Titanic-Zeug kann ich nicht mehr sehen. :D
Die Preussen ist relativ unbekannt und hat ein interessantes Design, finde ich.
