Today I am showing Mt. Everest. The mountain was made by Imbilio, and the glaciers by me. I also defined some areas like the South Summit, which you can notice just below the summit on the south. And also the 2nd Step and the Khumbu Icefall. I plan on taking more stuff into detail in the future. I also am getting into rendering, just practising though.
Alright, let me help you. In World Machine, you can make the map 1,024 x 10,24 or 2,048 x 2048. (Which is what you see here.) Once you have exported the map and the mask, place the mask in your World Painter brushes folder. Then go to preferences and make the brush size half the size of the map. (512 for 1,024. And 1024 for 2,048.) Then simply line make the mask brush maximum size and line it up with the edges of the world so it's completely squared up. Then place the snow down on the mountain. And your done! (Hope that helps) :)
