Map created and Designed by TomPreston and Darcia with help from Ashley Staggs

UPDATED FOR Snapshot 13w02b

 1. Changed the Day/Night redstone to work with the new Day/Night detector block!

 1. Fixed player inventory problem
 2. Added anvils to both team huts
 3. Added color coded leather caps for each team
 4. Improved the balance

 • *Two team PVP survival map! Red vs Blue!
 • *6 players per team for a total of 12 possible combatants!
 • *Simple automatic player drop system makes the map easy for admins to setup.

 • *Two unique worlds built from the ground up!
 • *Both sides have ores and resources the other side needs!
 • *Lots of hidden pathways, secrets, and treasures sprinkled throughout both worlds!
 • *The only 2 doors connecting the worlds open and close depending on the time of day and weather conditions. During the day theyo re closed, but then at night they open up!
 • *Sneak into enemy territory and steal the precious resources you need to level up your team's weapons and armor!
 • *Defend your land from outsiders!

The Rules (Players)

 1. DO NOT mine the main wall for resources
 2. DO NOT climb over the main wall (use the doors provided instead)
 3. DO NOT go over the bedrock walls
 4. You can mine anywhere and are encouraged to raid the other teamo s resources.

The Rules (Host)

 1. Direct the players into their cells. 6 player max per team.
 2. To start the game, enter the Admin area with the stone button located in the spawn chest. Press the start button when everyone is ready. You cannot reset! So make sure everyone is ready!!!
 3. If you want to play with the players, you have 20 seconds to reach your cell and set your gamemode to 0. I recommend changing gamemode before you hit the button, as all the cells are easily accessible.

Excellent, you updated it for the 1.4 add ons. Will have to replay this with some friends.
Tom I made a version of this with command blocks for you to examine, I sent you it in an e-mail. Did you get it?

I did, but I don't really understand what you want me to do with it. Why don't you post it here on your own page? I can't post it and take credit for all the work you put into your version, and there's nothing wrong with multiple people having variations on a similar idea.
Thank you. I just thought you might of wanted to use it. But did you like it?

Hello TomPreston! I am MeLikesManga on DeviantArt and I love your work but I was very upset when you blocked me :( I know I kept asking what you make your comics with but I really regret it now. Is there anyway to unblock me because I'd really like to continue watching you again. I swear I will not ask questions again.
Btw, nice map! Can't wait to try it out!

By the way, how do you make the doors activate? It's really cool! Plus, I need to disable it while I set up the plugin...

The doors are run by 4 testificates on either side of the map. When all 4 testificates go inside, they activate pressure plates, which turn on and off redstone resulting in the doors being open. When they leave, the doors close. Pretty simple setup. If you have to you could kill the testificates and respawn them after you've set up the plugin. It doesn't matter what testificates there are, so long as there's 1 per slot.

None exist yet. I've been able to get it hosted for a match recently, but I don't know of any dedicated servers yet. If anyone is willing to host one, I'd be happy to advertise for it.

I own a dedicated server that can support up to 24 members. Hit me up on skype, man573, and I'll host this for you if you want (I need to clarify something first).

For free, duh.

I don't have skype, but I can respond via e-mails: [email protected]

What's the question?

Well, for one, is it automatic? I can (possibly) make it redstone powered depending on how gou built it. If it's automatic, can you link the plugin?

Automatic in what way? The doors are automatic and they run on their own by using testificates and redstone.

The player drop system requires an admin to release players into the world by pushing a button. Once people are in position, the admin pushes a button and the players get dropped in. It's not meant for players to continue to play over and over and over again in the same round, so once a player dies, that's it for them and they get teleported back up to the observation tower.

I've played a match with some friends and we had some sort of "bucket" system that allowed the spawn point to be protected by about 15x15 from the center of the tower. It also teleported players directly to the center of the observation tower in case anything went wrong. I'm sure there's a way you could set it up to have teams more clearly defined, and to end and reset when the other team is all dead, but I don't know how that stuff works.

I think I could get this to be automatic with command blocks... Maybe. I'll try later tonight.

I'll bet it would be, but I don't want to add command blocks until the next update since not everyone follows the snapshots religiously :)

I'll also add color coded armor when the next update is up too, but if you want to modify it for your server, be my guest! If you can get it working, I'll happily promote it to get a nice steady stream of new players.

I think I found a mod to do it (without command blocks), I'll get it all set up later in about 3-4 hours.
