The story is about three boys exploring North Sentinel Island with a boat. The boat crashes and they are stuck on the island.
One is captured by the natives of norht sentinel island, and is going to be eaten and grilled by them. The other two find a destroyed Seaplane and repair it. They finish the build right before he is lowered into the fire. The plane has a hook buildt in, so they lower it and catch the cage he is kept in.
Later, the plane needs to do an emergency landing.
