Do you love vanilla Minecraft but have grown bored of the same generated structures? Looking for something new to explore and a new land to call your home?
Tired of finding the same ordinary structures in the Minecraft world, I decided to scour the internet and my imagination to come up with new structures to build and spread across a freshly generated land of my own called Nyvarld.
Nyvarld contains Over 100 Unique New Structures and Locations to Discover rebuilt from and inspired by builds from all over the internet Minecraft community, as well asplenty of my own creation. This includes things from battle towers and new dungeons to tents, houses, and farms. You'll find shrines, temples, giant trees, forts, ruins, towers, tree houses, and plenty more.
With Nyvarld, I hope to bring back the sense of adventure and exploration that Minecraft held when we first stumbled upon a new structure and wondered what it was, how it got there, and what sorts of treasures and secrets it held for us. But more than that, by building the structures into the already-generated terrain, I want to make some of the structures make sense in their surrounding and create some sense of history.
Since the Minecraft map is near-infinite, Nyvarld will always be a work in progress. However, there are still dozens of new locations and secrets to explore across the land, and plenty of room in between to build your own home and start your own empire. And once you journey beyond the boundaries of the known world, you can always expand Nyvarld by adding your own new structures.
And while Nyvarld is fantastic for lone wanderers and explorers, it is even more fun for parties adventuring together in groups on a server!
For more pictures, lore, and behind-the-scenes information on some of the builds, see my Imgur page here: http://spookyhappyfun.imgur.com/.
Nyvarld is a large biome world that was designed for play with vanilla Minecraft. The world was generated in 1.5 and upgraded to work with 1.6.2. New structures end around 1000-2000 blocks from spawn, after which normal world gen takes over.
All known credit for inspired structures are compiled and listed in a book found near spawn (and links are also included in the "Build List" text document located in the world save folder). However, all content built in Nyvarld has been built exclusively by me based only on pictures and videos of others' builds. All are recreations and no schematics or other imported files were used.
Nyvarld is the result of almost 6 months of work, but there's always more to build. If you have recommendations or suggestions of new structures that you'd like to see, please message me and let me know. I'm always looking to expand the world and add new builds.
Also, please check out the links listed in the Build List, as there are some incredible builders and creators out there in the Minecraft community whose work should be acknowledged.
Nyvarld wouldn't be half the world it is if it weren't for all of them.
