There is life on Mars...
When astronauts touched down on Mars' surface they did not expect to find what they did.
Two small lagoons, blossoming with life that were split by a walkway of rock.
An ideal place for them to conduct research into life on Mars.
Organic life thrived...
Disaster struck. Weather conditions blew the base to pieces and the place was abandoned.
The nutrients and chemicals in the lagoons caused the plant life to develop extreme resistances to heat.
Who knows how long it could survive...

TNT used for carving the shapes of the lagoons
Base built then destroyed with TNT to give the impression of a weather disaster.
