PANDEMIC is based off of the board game 'PANDEMIC' designed by Matt Leacock and published in 2007. The idea of the game is 2-4 players work together to irradicate 4 major epidemics that have started to infect the world, city by city. You win by finding a cure for each of the 4 diseases before the diseases spread too much.
In this version you are attempting to cure 4 diseases by collecting 6 items for each, in a specific order. After finding all the items and have brought them back to spawn, you win the game, and the difficulty is changed to peaceful. However things get harder as mobs get stronger the more progress you make. Play with as many people as you want.
Some things to note:
This is a cooperative game - you CAN'T attack each other!
Each time a disease is cured, the mob corresponding to that disease gets stronger!
You can see your progress for each disease on the giant bottles at spawn. They will begin to fill
themselves as you deposit the items needed to cure diseases.
Always put the item you are depositing into the chest in the very first slot of the chest in the top left corner.
If you place an item in that you hadn't reached yet, it will still say progress was made, but nothing will happen. Keep track of your progresss.
IMPORTANT: The item needed for the disease after the one you need at the present time, is unobtainable in your inventory. For example; until you deposit gunpowder into the red disease, you wont be able to collect hardened clay. After you deposit the gunpowder, however, you wont be able to collect bone meal until you deposit hardened clay, and so on. You can still have the items needed, stored in chests, dropped on ground, etc.
DO NOT CHEAT! This includes all commands with the exception of /tell, /msg, /seed, etc. You may however use /weather if the rain/storm is causing a lot of lag (especially for multiplayer).
Please note that this game can cause lag and may require a powerful computer to play with ease. It is recomended that you use Optifine or similar.
