PLANET MINECRAFT: THE BEGINNING

Current Description:

This is not your ordinary castle-orientated server spawn! It seems to be are occurring theme of building a castle for a spawn.In this map, You spawn in just next to the "Big Bang". This map frozen in time allows you to see the beginnings of planets and the debris that was spread far into space at the very beginning of time. Mars is very small in its "baby" state. Perfect size for a shop. Neptune is also nearby and could house different things such as warps or just a chill-out room for Minecraft adventurers. Behind the two colliding masses it the one and only Planet Minecraft. All though it is not the current Planet Minecraft. It is Planet Minecraft in its Pangaea form (before continental drift). Inside of both of the colliding planets there is community enchanting, repairing, and crafting areas. Out a little in further in space, there is a PvP area set upon many comets flying by the spawn. Also in space, a wormhole is occurring and it is the perfect place to throw any of the nasty cheaters from the server right into. Inside the wormhole is 8 2x2 jail-cells sure to dive the cheater back to normality! All of this will hopefully make up the spawn of the Planet Minecraft Server!

The Idea:

This is my first upload, so be gentle. After thinking for a while as to what to build for my first contest entry, I thought "Wow, wouldn't it be cool to be able to see The one and only Planet Minecraft". That was not a very original idea at all, so then i thought; how about a spawn that not only shows Planet Minecraft, but shows its placement in the solar system. That seemed to sit better inside of my head. I also thought of having the spawn set up similar to a timeline. I started out out where I spawned and started to create the "Big Bang". Next i will create the Planet Minecraft and surrounding planets. After that is done, I will see what other ideas arrive by that time.

Currently, The Project Includes:

• The initial spawn.
  
• Boards around the initial spawn. (admins, rules, etc.)
  
• The "Big Bang (OK its like the 70's theroy of the beginning of the universe)".
  
• Debris from the "Big Bang".
  
• A walking lane.
  
• Mars/Mars-like planet with chests organized in a shop fashion on the inside.
  
• Earth/Planet Minecraft in Pangaea form. (Has a ring for viewing purposes)
  
• Neptune with an end and nether portal on two different levels. (Started to realize this is nowhere near accurate :D)
  
• The Planet o' Enchanting.
  
• Inside Earth parkour.
  
• The Planet o' Crafting and Repair.
  
• Tricky Comet PvP.
  
• Visit-able Wormhole Jail.
  
• 8 2x2 obsidian refined jail cells fit for any rule-breaker! It will have them thinking twice about what they have done.
  
• A Quasar. This is something new to my knowledge that UndeadSoldier14 told me to make to fill up some space.
  
• Planet Minecraft emblem at spawn point.
  
• Jupiter with viewing ring.
  
• Saturn with viewing ring.
  

Sidenote:

Unfortunately the "1.6" update took place a little too close to the deadline. I couldn't get the last few pictures off because of the two planets made out of hardened clay, and no shader modifications are out yet. I will still update after the contest is over because people seem to be reasonably impressed with the map. Who knows, maybe i will evolve it into something like an adventure map.
