I have chosen to abandon this project. The scope is too big and I don't care enough about the Pokemon franchise any more to bother with it. However, someone is currently working on a continuation of this project. Here's the link if you want to check out what they've done so far:

Pokemon Fire Red (for the Sevii Islands)
Pokemon Soul SIlver

Region Progress:
Kanto- 90% has no interiors yet, full exterior complete
Johto- 0% have not started yet
Hoenn- 3% only the first 2 towns and a couple routes
Sinnoh- 95% most buildings have no interiors, some caves still need to be made
Unova- 70% everything up to Mistralton city heading west around the loop and up to tubeline bridge heading east around the loop.
Kalos- 2% only ambrette town has been built
Alola- 5% the region map is currently pasted into the world, and I've started work on melemele island
Galar- Not building (see below)
Landscaping- 3% most of the routes are surrounded by water, but I plan to fill it in with trees and land.

So yeah, in case it wasn't super duper obvious yet, I have no intentions on finishing this project. Ever. The scope is simply way too enormous for the amount of time I could ever have to work on it, and considering that the game devs don't seem to be stopping any time soon means the amount of work I have to do grows significantly each year. On top of that, I just don't really care about the Pokemon franchise any more. At least, not like I used to. I'm 24 now, and I have reached a point in my life where I am more critical of major design philosophy flaws in media. I prefer games with deeper meaning or creative freedom on the player's behalf and Pokemon hasn't had any "deeper meaning" to me since gen 5.
With that said, I'll be releasing the map files as they are. Some of you seem to want to have the maps, so here you go. I don't remember what version they were last played in. (it's probably 1.14, so it should be fine to just load it up in 1.18 right from the get go). If anyone wants to finish or update the project by themselves, go right ahead, I don't care so long as you credit me as the original project creator. The files include all of Sinnoh's and Kanto's exteriors, the first town and route of Johto, and most of Unova's exteriors (in a separate world file). I never built anything else of note from any other regions, so those map files are not included. World spawn is Sinnoh, and Kanto is a hundred blocks or so southwest.
EXTRA SIDE NOTE: I forgot to mention, due to an unforeseeable accident involving the permanent loss of a computer a year or so ago, there are a few missing chunks in the east of Sinnoh. The world was partially corrupted and these chunks are unrecoverable. The Pokemon league island and the resort area are gone, and have been replaced automatically with water. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this causes you, as I do not have any other backups of the world.

Edit of Octuber 3th, 2022: Man to make Narrow Street and Gym Street im need open an DS Emulator and stay walking in the roads looking for the Buildings and recreating it.
