Level 36 : Artisan Pokemon

This is my take on the Sinnoh Region in Minecraft. I'm making the whole thing myself and am blogging the entire project at:
http://minecraftsinnoh.blogspot.com.au/
On this blog you can see the project in much greater depth. Much more screenshots and much more for you to read.

Advantages of 2:1 Scale

What 2:1 scale means is that the Sinnoh Region in this Minecraft Project is twice the size of the Sinnoh Region in Pokemon on the DS. A 1x1 tile on the DS is 2x2 blocks in Minecraft. The advantage of this is:
- More space to walk around.
- More reliastic feel towards the original.
- Buildings can have proper interiors while retaining the correct exterior proportions.
- Much more detail per walking tile.
- Open feeling.

Accurately Re-constructed Towns, Cities and Routes

All Towns, Cities and Routes will be included. Every Town, City and Route is re-constructed as accurately as possible. I'm aiming for as little error as possible. All hidden areas, buildings, caves and landmarks will be included and have been re-created with top notch quality.

All Buildings Have Interiors

All buildings will have interiors including all 8 Gyms, Pokemon Centre's and Pokemon Marts. Plus all houses and landmarks.

The issue with the Pokemon games is that the interiors can be twice the size or more of the exterior which is physically impossible. Most interiors are at a 1:1 scale so that all interior elements such as furniture and televisions can fit inside the building properly.

Comprehensive Build Log with Screenshots

Every segment is featured in my blog dedicated to this project:

There you will find everything you want to know about how the Project started, Where it's up to and what's next. There are hundreds of screenshots scatterd around the blog so all angles are covered.

Where can I get this map?

The link is on the page in the usual place.

You will need Minecraft 1.8 or later to fully enjoy this project.

I'm using no texture packs as my intention is to combine the charm of vanilla Minecraft with locations of Sinnoh. You can use your own preferred texturepack by all means.

In English it's absolutely. In Japanese, I believe the word in this case is "Danzen"(断然). correct me if I'm wrong, I have only started learning the language myself.

The map is very well established, although the Spear Pillar see it too small, I think he could make it bigger and add Hall of Origin

It also occurs to me that could make the The End was the Distortion World

Yes, one thing that did annoy me was that the Spear Pillar was too small. The challenge is to enlarge in a way that the surrounding mountain still looks like a mountain. I might update it in the next few months but no guarantees.

Turning The End into the distortion world sounds like an excellent idea.

It is a good map, one would polish that detail Spear Pillar, I think there is enough room to expand just enough to start building better, as the Distortion World, there is a command to get a block of portal of The End, so which you would not have to put it all, only the part of the portal to enter, put on the site in you capture to Giratina in Diamond and Pearl

Ok, so this is a really awesome map, but what game is this map based off of? The mainland is clearly Diamond and Pearl, but the Battle Island is Platinum? Sorry, this is just a personal thing, I want it to be either Diamond and Pearl or just Platinum. Sorry again, just a personal thing of mine

It was based completely from diamond version until I was just about finished. Then I decided to replace some elements from Platinum because I thought they looked better. So yes, there may be a mix of things from different versions on the game. Sorry about that.
What an amazing map ! I'm asking if i could use this for an Adventure Map, with your credits.

I'm hosting two projects on my account at the moment and the other project (the Hoenn Region) has earned me just over 2,500 points. My projects aren't as well known or as popular as other equivelent projects hence me being 'just' level 14.
This project looks more promising (in terns of viewing and download statistics) than the Hoenn Region probably as this was hosted here from the start whereas my Hoenn project didn't turn up here until it was about 25% complete.

This is a lovely and big project, I hope to see it grow till its finished, my only observation is that the Lake verity looks kind of unnatural, the design is too perfect for a lake. (Looks lik a a man-made lake rather than a natural lake... my humble opinion)
