Original Project 1958

Project 1958 is my attempt at building my ship, USS Nautilus NCC1958 from Star Trek Online in Minecraft. She is based on the Atlas class prototype dreadnought cruiser. As she is only in the game no exact measurements are available so I've had to guess

The Atlas Class was designed in 2260 as a purpose-built warship prototype with different capabilities based on different mission parameters. the first of which, USS Atlas NCC-1500, was built in secret at Utopia Planitia and launched in 2265. the second, USS Inca NCC-1580 would be launched a year later in 2266 from San Francisco Fleet Yards. the third, USS Nautilus NCC-1958, Named after the USS Nautilus SSN-571, launched at the same time but would not be commissioned for another 2 years in 2268 at Juipeer Station where she was transferred after launch. At Jupiter Station, she would receive her advanced weaponry and undergo more serious training than her counterparts. Her official launch would be captained by Captain Jack Davis of the Starship USS Excalibur NCC-1705(currently undergoing extensive rebuild due to her partial destruction at the M5 War Games) First Officer William Scott, and Helmsmen, MACO Opritive, and former Section 31 Special Agent Connor Jackson.



Following an uneventful 2 years, the Nautilus would be sent on a search and destroy mission of the compromised and hijacked USS Atlas. During the battle, the Nautilus would board the Atlas via shuttle led by Connor Jackson and rescue most of the surviving crew including Captian Lewis Fredrickson, Engineer Harold Kingsly, and Vulcan Security Officer T'Liss. Captain Lewis would take over as Acting Captain of the Nautilus and Connor Jackson was currently in command due to Captain Davis being transferred back to the USS Excalibur and Commander Scott being off the ship due to a family emergency. When the battle was over, the Nautilus beamed any survivors over and they were rushed to sickbay or given temporary stations on the ship



Upon arriving back at Earth Space dock the Nautilus crew were startled to find they had time traveled to the 2370-s at the height of the Dominion War. Upon later inspections, at San Francisco Ship Yards, it was found that an imbalance was caused by the battle but was undetected due to the use of the Dual Core Warp Field. Nautilus would be refit and pushed into service in the front lines of the Dominion War and serve valiantly until her destruction in 2399 battling and liberating the borg Converted Sovergin Class Ship the USS Tridaunt NX-75567. What remains of the Saucer Section was towed to the Fleet yards to be converted into a Museum piece
