This is basically the same as my dual 7 segment display adder. However the 7 segments are made with pistons rather than torches.
See other project for details...... I will be working on this project more, so please bear with me.

Update #1 : by DorkyJ 07/09/2011 4:59:34 pmJul 9th, 2011
Im hoping to make this project a bit different from my other "adder" project in the following ways......
#1: Removing the "7 segment" look and feel from the board... Thinking more of a typeset look for the numerals. Honestly not 100% sure how Im gonna do it yet, but I have a couple ideas.
#2: Will probably include Subtraction, Multiplication, and Division to the machine. I have the logic for those about 90% finished already on a version of my other adder.
Other than that Im not really sure how far to take it. Obviously it is a seperation from traditional 7 segment machines but not by a lot. Just trying to come up with ideas which will set it apart from what others are doing or have done.
In additon, I have figured out a few neat tricks that pistons will allow within the logic of the machine and will probably impliment a bit of that as well. I suppose I will just see where this takes me.
