So when I watched Iskall's recent video and googled up 'starcraft pylon'. I thought it looked pretty cool and maybe even try to design one for myself. The build includes some of the primary requirements mentioned in the video - it has a variation of Ice as it's main block, and emits light. The build had to be changed from Ice, Packed Ice, and Yellow Plastic blocks to a four-block-pallet to achieve the lighting function without harming the design. Also, the yellow just stood out too much for a decorative build.
If anyone does try to build this, please consider how many blocks were actually used in building ONE of them
In its entirety, the design is - 31 x 31 x 69. Without the crown/holder it's a 31 x 31 x 39
within the given space the following number of blocks were used.
- 231 Packed Ice
- 25 -30 Sea Lanterns
- 150 quartz
- and 200 to 800 White Stained Glass, the number of blocks are dependent on the preference of how much noise you want to include in the design
